Taxi Media beats Djokovic during Wimbledon

A lot happened during Wimbledon fortnight this year. 191,930 portions of strawberries were served, Nick Kyrgios broke the record for the fastest ever second serve (143mph) and the Men’s Singles Final was the longest ever at 4 hours, 57 minutes.

Eventual champion and Lacoste ambassador Novak Djokovic tried to promote Lacoste but was banned from wearing his Lacoste baseball cap during a third round match on Court One.

Taxi Media succeeded where Djokovic had failed though, and successfully promoted Lacoste during the tournament. We wrapped 28 livery taxis for Lacoste who, despite not being a Wimbledon sponsor, used their fleet to advertise their French ‘Panache’ fragrance as their official ambassador Djokovic beat Roger Federer to lift the trophy for a record-equalling fifth time.

If you own a TX4 or a TX5 electric cab and would like to join the Taxi Media fleet, call Kelli in the Taxi Media Operations Centre on 020 7091 1911 today.
